David Polley – Technical Tri-Mix, Cavern & Wreck Instructor

“As an experienced British Wreck Diver his main

interest is deep wrecks, and exploring the many WWII wrecks in the Gulf of Thailand. He worked in the UK as a dive instructor, wreck diving and teaching whilst studying for his degree in Environmental Biology at University. After moving to Thailand he setup a dive centre and built a boat to explore the Gulf of Thailand’s many Japanese ‘Maru’ shipwrecks sunk in WWII and other wrecks scattering the gulf.  After selling his dive centre and moving to Koh Tao he joined DJL Tec in 2011. He now runs the runs the technical diver training along side Tim Lawerence and runs the technical diving departments tech team ‘TMx Explorers’ joining the Technical Wreck Diving Project for wreck exploring and surveying. David runs many of our technical operations courses teaching Tri-mix Gas Blending, Compressor operations, regulator and equipment servicing courses.  He also runs regular Cave Diving trips, teaching cavern and leading experienced cave divers into the many deep caves found on the mainland such as Song Hong and Sra Keaw. He runs DSAT Tec 40, 45, 50 programs, BSAC Advanced Nitrox, Extended Range and DJL tec DSAT/BSAC Tec tri-mix courses finishing the dives on one of our deep Gulf of Thailand Wreck Trips or at Khao Sok National Park.”
