Are you ready for added responsibility and deeper more complex diving?, well the Dive Leader package is for you!  Through this course we aim to improve the Dive Leading techniques learnt on the Sports Diver course as well as furthering your experience of different conditions at greater depths.  We also aim to show you how to develop your role as a Dive Leader in rescue situations by introducing Oxygen administration and incident management.  The package here is working over a 4 week period but can be modified to suit the needs of the student if necessary.

Course Schedule;

Week 1;

• Introduction, orientation, paperwork and pack.
• Check dive if nescessary
• Self study of manuel and course notes.
• Theory lessons 1 – 8; The Role of the Dive Leader, Basic Life Support, Oxygen and Diving Incidents, Casaulty Assessment, Oxygen Administration Equipment, Oxygen Administration in Practice, Use of Oxygen Administration Equipment, Dive Planning.
• Open WaterLessons 1 – 4; DSMB Deployment, Dive Leading Demonstration, Dive Leading Practice, Shot Recovery by Simple Lift.

Week 2;

• Self Study of manual and study notes
• Theory Lessons 8 – 12; Dive Planning, Rescue Management Part 1, Helicopter Operations, Rescue Management Part 2, The Role of the Dive Manager.
• Open Water Lessons 5 – 7; Rescue Management Scenario’s, Diving and Rescue Skills Review, Rescue Skills Review,
• Dry Practical Lesson 1; Dive Management 1.

Week 3;

• Dry Practical Lessons 2; Dive Management Part 2.
• Dive Leader Theory Exam
• Additional Logged Dives (20 Total), 6 Boat Dives, 8 Dive Leading Dives, 10 Dive Leading Dives.

Week 4;

• Additional Logged Dives (Total 20)

**This is an outline, however the course can be modified if necessary. For example if you are short on time the 7 Open Water Lessons can be taken off the 20 Logged Dives at the end of the course.

Course Prerequisities;

Sports Diver, 20 logged dives post Sports Diver course.

Cost of Part 1; THB 15,000

Cost of Part 2; THB 16,800 or THB 700 per dive
